So my guess is that you really like this guy, he’s kinda “the one.” But he’s walked away from you before. Feels a bit lopsided from the get go. You should never loose yourself for someone else.
Do you remember how you felt when you realized he was gone the first time? (Do your friends even like this guy? I feel like they were happy when he may have been out of the picture.)

To me, your relationship with your father (or father figure) is paramount at the moment. He’s starting to see you in a different light. He’s a bit less protective because he’s noticed you’re starting to come into your own. That doesn’t mean the instinct has gone away, it just means he’s beginning to acknowledge that you’re your own woman (which makes it really hard for him to see you as his little girl).

Here’s the adage: A job’s a job. It appears to me that you need the job in order for your life to balance the way that you’d like. I also feel like this is a recent development where you’re looking for the job pretty intensely and yet you’re doing most of that looking from your computer. Which sucks and is never the total answer. Have you tried reaching out to your network of family and friends that are already working to see if they have a connect, an “in” or an opportunity for you? Have you tried LinkedIn?
I think that if you’re offered the job at ON, it’s something that will get you by, but not something you’ll care for in particular.

Waiting for the changes to come is just that, a waiting game. Don’t put your life on hold for changes to come, make them happen. You have to work for change to come. The potential is that you will know and trust the results of your efforts. Waiting for what comes, and if it does, when it does, how long it will last, the durability of the experience is never known. If you’ve worked for it than you know what you’re getting. Change is most beneficial when you’ve put your self on the path to change and orchestrated the outcome.
I think you can make your connection happen with this person before year’s end, but you need to make it happen. As an FYI, I think that if it does there’s some illusion to the relationship. You’re seeing it as you want to see it rather than for what it is.

Thank you for your honesty. Remember, our lives are never set in stone. When I perform a reading I am working with you to provide insight into your choices and clarify your current path. By no means am I predicting your future or indicating that you must do anything. I hope that provides you some relief around the nature of the reading.
My initial impression is that you’re holding onto some emotion from the past and you’re still working through those emotions. Burying the negative thoughts didn’t help, it just repressed what you needed to work through. So now that repressed energy is coming back with a force so that you must deal with it now. Your opportunity is balance because right now you’re out of balance.
There’s a lot of imagery in this reading (related to you) of people & things coming together. However, they’re not coming together physically, they’re aspects coming together. For me that means that your subconscious is working through the relationship with that person. The person in question has moved on, by the way. They’re represented here by the 8 of Cups. The 8C also recommends that you step onto this path and do the same by working through the past relationship. To do so you’re going to need to stop ignoring/repressing the aspects of the relationship, review them, consider them, recognize how you are who you are because of that person. Recognize how they influenced your life. And accept that you are who you are because you knew them.
I think you’ll come out of the woods a whole person with a solid understanding of self and a newly found confidence.
Other things of note:
